2024年6月13日 · Hi everyone, Our family (with 2 kids ages 9 & 11) are heading to Japan for the first time this Nov/Dec for 2 weeks. Would love some input on this itinerary, and suggestions for where to add 1 more night. Main goals for the trip are to not jump around *too* much as it's hard on the kids, but still see some neat things.

Day 1-3: Tokyo (3 nights) Day 4: Tokyo to Okinawa (fly). Overnight Okinawa. Day 5,6: Okinawa (3 nights total) Day 7: Okinawa to Hiroshima (fly). Overnight Hiroshima.

The best near Arenal, in my opinion, is Mistico hanging Bridges. The name of the town near the Arenal volcano is La Fortuna. The names are used interchangeably, same area.
