I probably spend 4 nights in Tokyo and would like to travel some nice city 2-3 hours train ride. Can recomend a nice city nearby. Prefer nice scenery and lay back city. Not shopping and crowded city like Tokyo. I'm travelling with 2 teenager.
2024年6月16日 · I will be retruning to Japan for one month mid-October to mid-November. Checking the weather averages for this time of year for Tokyo it seems about the same as a Sydney autumn (bit colder in November) - looks like rain is unlikely and temps are 15-22.

2024年6月14日 · The JR Pass is probably the best choice for you. You can have a 7-day or 14-day pass. But, for example, if you are staying in Osaka / Kyoto for 7 days, and in Tokyo for 8 days, you probably should get a 7-day pass activated by the time you are leaving Tokyo. Because the real use for this pass is the Shinkansen.
