Kyoto to Tsuruga journey was very picturesque. Mountains one side, the other side water... it was beautiful. Could observe extensive usage of Solar energy.

Some hotels seem to be closed or fully booked the week after the festival is there a reason for this . Booked Melia Plaza but a couple of other preferred not available..any ideas.
