香港理工大學 （英語： The Hong Kong Polytechnic University ， 縮寫 ： PolyU ），簡稱 理大 ，是一所坐落於 香港 九龍 紅磡 的公立應用 研究型大學 。 其前身是1937年創立的香港官立高級工業學院，此後歷經多個發展階段，並在1994年升格為大學，成為八間 大學教育資助委員會 （教資會）資助的法定公立大學之一。 理大是香港頂尖的大學之一 [4] ，現時屬於「 QS世界百強大學 」、「 泰晤士高等教育世界百強大學 」及「 美國新聞與世界報道世界百強大學 」。 理大共有九個學院，包括工程、建設及環境、工商管理、醫療及社會科學、人文、時裝及紡織、設計、理學院、酒店及旅遊業管理學院，轄下共有26個 學系 ，40多個研究實驗室、研究院及研究中心。

A number of web and mobile applications managed by different departments across the University and each of them may require different IDs and passwords for performing specific job functions. With PolyU Single-Sign-On (PolyU-SSO), users can simply access multiple applications and systems by using their NetID and NetPassword.
