IV infusion for up to 14 days (infuse over a 30-min period) or IM inj for up to 7 days. Adult & ped patient ≥13 yr 1 g once daily. Ped patient 3 mth-12 yr 15 mg/kg bd, max 1 g/day. Duration of treatment: Complicated intra-abdominal infections 5-14 days.
