(4 August 2022) The Estate Agents Authority (“EAA”) announced today that the Chief Executive Officer of the EAA, Ms Ruby HON Yuen-ping, was tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test today. She is undergoing isolation in accordance with the order of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.

(3 August 2022) The Estate Agents Authority (“EAA”) welcomes the Government’s announcement today of the appointment of Mr Simon SIU Chak-yu, BBS, JP to succeed Ms Elaine LIU, JP as the new Chairman of the EAA Board effective from 29 July 2022.

Ms Hon is currently the Director of Services of the EAA and has been serving in this post for the past eight years. She has also been appointed as the Acting CEO of the EAA since January 2014. Prior to her career with the EAA, Ms Hon spent 20 years as a practising solicitor.
