2024年4月25日 · 前往網上申請 BNO網址. 於網上填妥資料、上載相片（下文有詳解照片要求及規格）及網上繳費. 找合資格人士副簽（只有部分申請人需要做此步驟） 把所需文件快遞或空郵掛號形式把文件寄到英國護照署，可隨時於Email查看申請進度。 申請／續領BNO所需文件： 香港永久性居民身份證雙面彩色影印本. 申請人的出生證明彩色影印本. 申請人12個月內的住址證明文件正本. 於 2021 年 1 月 31 日起開放予擁有BNO身份人士申請，無須持有效 BNO 護照，可憑特區護照申請. 5 年簽證費為 250 英鎊，30 個月簽證費為 180 英鎊. 抵英後可從事任何工種. 親屬（配偶、未成年子女）可以「受養人」身份申請簽證赴英. 受養人數目不限，但必須經常居於香港. 申請人須證明具足夠經濟能力，供申請人及受養人在英生活 6 個月. 需支付額外費用，以享用國民保健服務（NHS） 詳情可瀏覽 英府官方網頁. 我是否擁有 BNO 身份？ 1997 前出生港人 BNO 護照申請 / 續領 ：
BNO 申請步驟教學. 即使BNO已經過期，只要持有人曾經在1997年7月1日前成功申請過BNO，現時都可以重新續領。 現時新系統步驟較以往簡單，主要是完成選擇題及填寫基本個人資料，然後上載個人相片，並以Visa或Master信用卡付款即可。 根據以下步驟，就可以申請續領： BNO Passport 申請. BNO續期可在英國護照署的網站辦理，申請可按： HM Passport Office 。 系統會指示你「申請護照」，按「繼續」後，再按指示上載照片，填寫你的個人詳細資訊如全名、出生日期和聯絡方式和英國國民（海外）護照號碼。 如你已經遺失護照，要先辦理 網上報失BNO 。 可用信用卡繳付新護照費用。
