    鍾期榮， GBS （英語： Chung Chi-yung ，1920年7月29日—2014年3月2日 ），出生於 中國 湖南 長沙 ，就讀長沙私立幼幼學校（現為長沙市天心區幼幼學校） [2] 、 省立長沙女子中學 以及 湖南私立周南女子中學 [2] [3] ，1944年從 武漢大學 法律系畢業，後赴 法國 巴黎大學 留學獲得法學博士學位，是中國首位女 法官 。 1956年定居香港，後與丈夫 胡鴻烈 一起創建 香港樹仁大學 並擔任校長。 2007年，獲加拿大籍業餘 天文學家 楊光宇 將一顆於2001年首次被發現的 小行星 「34779」命名為「鍾期榮」 [4] 。 2014年3月2日，鍾期榮在香港 律敦治醫院 病逝，享壽93歲。 遺體最後下葬於 柴灣華人永遠墳場25段6 [5] [6] 。
