2024年5月9日 · 香港文化博物館是康樂及文化事務署轄下的一所綜合性博物館，內容涵蓋歷史、藝術和文化等不同範疇。 博物館以服務觀眾為本，務求透過多元化和生動活潑的展覽及節目，讓參觀者在欣賞文物之餘，還可以參與其中活動，寓學習於消閒。 在展覽設施方面，博物館設有12個展覽館，陳列面積達7,500平方米。 6個常設展覽包括瞧潮香港60+、金庸館、粵劇文物館、徐展堂中國藝術館、趙少昂藝術館及兒童探知館。 專題展覽館在不同時間推出多元化的展覽主題，以提高參觀者對文化藝術的興趣。 在推廣和教育方面，本館透過舉辦多元化的活動，例如專題講座、研討會、導賞團、工作坊、親子/兒童活動、學校活動、劇院及網上節目等，加深市民大眾，尤其是學生、老師、長者、家庭觀眾，對博物館專題展覽及常設展覽的了解，並提高他們對香港文化和藝術的興趣。
