2024年5月12日 · Stopover for 8hrs. May 12, 2024, 2:50 AM. A flight I might jump in will give me a 8 hour stop over in Melbs. I see the foreigners need a visa to entry AUS even if it’s stopover if it’s over 8 hrs. I got it last time I had to wait 9hrs in Melbs (even though I didn’t leave the airport!) but this time it might be for 8hrs.

When my husband applied for the Australia via (ETA), it scanned it wrong on the Australian side, and one letter in his first name is wrong - so it wont attach to his passport. We applied for a new visa - both were granted - we have the paper work showing that.

As we are in the US and it is a US based property, we decided to take a chance for a 1-night stay. We also knew that we would not be adjusting our travel plans, barring some major, catastrophic emergency.
