The former FA Youth Cup-winning captain, who first came to the club at the age of seven having been spotted playing for Wallasey-based junior side Greenleas FC, works alongside U18s manager Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.

Barry Lewtas took over as Liverpool FC U21s (then U23s) head coach in May 2020, a role which had been vacated by Neil Critchley's departure to Blackpool. Barry joined Liverpool in 2013 after working previously at Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers.
