The general accepted limit for peripheral infusion is about 800 mosmol/L but varies considerably w/ age & general condition of the patient & the characteristics of the peripheral veins. Experience w/ the use of Dipeptiven for longer periods than 9 days is limited. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
