2018年4月29日 · updating avast secure browser. I installed Avast secure browser on to my desktop version 65.0.411.162 from stand alone installer. I had already had Avast secure browser installed on my laptop version 64.0.388.186, so thought I would update to latest version with built in updater. But was informed that it was already up to date.

The fact that you automatically installed it without asking supersedes any opinion of it I might have: it's completely unacceptable and beyond ironic that an anti-virus software is installing things without my permission.
2019年9月6日 · I am running Avast Secure Browser on a PC running a Windows 8. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the programme a number of times but still have the same problem - when I launch the Secure Browser, I get a completely blank screen - absolutely nothing on it.

2021年4月6日 · Via auto update. I've passed the information on to the Avast team. I'm not aware of an auto install of the Secure Browser via auto ujpdating of your AV product. Hopefully, they can give you a better explanation. Thank you very much. I used to uninstall Avast Secure Browser before.
2022年7月19日 · Yes it's true avast spies on you And even if it didn't the browser is just a fork of chromium and is far inferior than chrome,edge or brave. It is better to use a major main stream browser backed by reputed organizations like chrome,Microsoft edge. If you are concerned about your privacy and security in the browser a few extensions will be fine.
