   2022年11月11日 · 慳錢大法：申請Transfer of Residence relief（TOR）免入口稅. 當收到確實報價並選定船運公司後，大家便要申請最重要的 TOR ，替運往英國的家當申請免稅安排。 TOR 必須由申請人自行申請，無須繳交申請費，申報文件必須列明寄件人的個人資料、寄運物品名單及數量，以及香港和英國地址，若果申請時未有確實英國的長期住址，可以先填寫一個短期租約地址。 申請人必須於 移民英國 前，於英國以外的地方連續住滿一年，而寄運的物品屬於自用，並已使用 6 個月或以上，及於申請人移民入境後一年內寄到英國。 基本上，大部份物件甚至私家車、遊艇等都可以免稅入境，但如酒類、煙草製品、商業運輸工具則不能免稅入境。 「免稅」物品寄到英國後，申請人需繼續自用 12 個月以上，不能轉讓或贈送給別人。
