Answer 1 of 4: Hi I'm planning to rent a car for 5 days when I'm in Taiwan in December. I came across orix car rental but I couldn't find any reviews about them. Anyone tried using their service before?
Thanks alot for the recommendation and tips. While on this topic, the reason why i'm renting a car is to visit places further out of a city area where while train is available, we are travelling with a 5yo and we think it might be good to take a scenic (albeit slower) route and also make pit stops for food, toilet etc or even a random playground that we happen to pass by.
I booked a car online for about $65 and picked it up and all was fine. However I noticed on my CC statement there was another charge for about $75 by RentalCover.com, its ‘partner company’. It turns out when I ordered the car, the default button enrolls you in extra insurance that costs more than the price of the car..

Technology is such that direct links from rental companies are imbedded in OTA, airline & other rental booking channels so you don’t book a rental car when a location is closed.
