  4. 2023年3月9日 · Given we can't predict the future, the best core portfolio to have would be a market-cap weighted portfolio. This could be either VAS/VGS/VISM/VGE (VISM and VGE are optional) or VAS/VTS/VEU. VTS and VEU are wrappers, so you could just back test with the underlying funds.

  5. 2021年9月13日 · The final balance was way too much ($400 million). Put 200%, it's debt to equity. That's it. I matched 55/45 UPRO/TMF with 55/45 VFINX/VUSTX with 200% leverage & 2% debt interest. 55/45 SPY/TLT needed 2.3% debt interest. EDIT: that was for monthly rebalancing. For quarterly rebalancing, debt interest is ~1% to match.

  9. So one of the tools I use a lot when tweaking my portfolio is to use Portfolio Visualizer, especially the Backtest Portfolio tool. Recently, Portfolio Visualizer made from pretty big changes to the UI (which I'm not a fan of) as well as something more fundamental to the Backtest Portfolio tool: limiting the backtest to 10 years for free users.
