2021年4月22日 · 概要. 「MAMコレクション013」では、アジアの異なる3つの都市で生まれ活動する3人のアーティスト、草間彌生（日本）、プラバヴァティ・メッパイル（インド）、ツァイ・チャウエイ（蔡佳葳）（台湾）の作品を紹介します。 本展にて展示される作品は、どれも線を用いて表現されていますが、線を引くという行為は、何もないところに新しいものを造り出したり、何かを指し示したり、とらえどころのないものに形を与えたり、混然一体となったものを分類したりすることができるものです。 それは人間が何かを考え、表現する、物やアイデアを生み出すための最も根源的な行為だといえるでしょう。 《インフィニティ・ネット》（2007年）は、草間の代表的なシリーズのひとつです。
