京都の丹後地方の伝統的な織物「丹後ちりめん」の技術で製作した、他にはないこだわりのオリジナル生地を使用した「PORTER TANGO BLACK（タンゴブラック）」シリーズです。 メイン生地には2年にわたる開発期間を経て実現した、丹後で織り上げ、丹後にしかない吊り精錬の加工を行なったこだわりの生地を採用しています。 京都の丹後地方の伝統的な織物である「丹後ちりめん」は縦糸には撚りのない生糸、横糸には1mあたり3000～4000回という強い撚りをかけた生糸を用い、それを交互に織り込んでいきます。 その後に精錬することで糸が収縮し、横糸の撚りが戻って生地全面の凹凸状のシボが出ますが、このシボが最大の特徴です。
