2004年2月29日 · Wow the memories of a 1940s childhood are flooding back. I too was fed spoonfuls of cod-liver oil and concentrated orange juice that was provided to supplement children's wartime diet. Curiously enough, 60 years on I'm taking that same combination again, this time mixed as a remedy to ease arthritic joints.
