National Day and Chung Yeung Festival. 9 years ago. Hi all, I would like to travel to Macau and Hong Kong from 1st October to 5th October and have not confirmed on itinerary just yet (to hit Macau or Hong Kong first). One of the concerns is the Public Holiday that falls on 1st and 2nd October. How is HK during that period?
1. Re: Pyrotechnics. 16 years ago. There is no large-scale fireworks for Chung Yeung. During certain peak tourist periods, the harbour light show will have mini fireworks. The next large fireworks display is October 1, National Day for China. Gold Coast Hotel is not a convenient place to visit the city. It is probably 20 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui.
