39. Re: Using a VPN to get cheaper flights. 5 years ago. That is weird that you get prices more expensive when you change the location. You should definitely try to clear cache and cookies. I tried just once to get a cheaper flight with Nordvpn app, and that time it worked. Report inappropriate content.

I used Astrill VPN (paid service) and it worked fine on my phone and computer. It's not cheap though. You need to purchase it and set it up before you leave.

You'll likely need an additional app such as Location Changer to get around the geolocation feature of your device. Otherwise, you can change your IP address with a VPN, but Netflix won't allow access if your location permission is turned off.
