    Eligible Households. Eligible households include: Residential customers with low electricity consumption* Elderly customers who are under concessionary tariff. Note: *Low electricity consumptions refer to existing residential customer with a total consumption in 2023 (bi-monthly, six bills all inclusive) of 2400kWh or less.

  6. Who are qualified. 1. Aged 65 or above either elderly singleton or elderly doubletons. Hong Kong resident for not less than one year; and receiving assistance from one of the following schemes: Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA); or. Old Age Living Allowance (OALA) 2. Low-income family.

  7. We will set aside HK$30 million to continue this scheme in 2024. We subsidise you, in particular if you are small and medium-sized enterprises, to install or replace more energy-efficient electrical equipment such as lighting and air conditioning systems to improve energy efficiency and reduce your operating costs.

  8. We have various support programmes to help the elderly, families in need and underprivileged households, as well as encourage energy saving and reduce carbon emissions.
