Log into this website at least everyday and check not only the aurora forecast, but the ENLIL, the LASCOs and the Magnetometers. Make sure your OP has a clear, northbound view with not obstacle, and that it is sufficiently far from the city so the city lights wont hurt.

2024年10月10日 · Will aurora be visible to the naked eye all the way down here? I know it might come down here, but It'll likely be faint, based off the data I see on SWL menu. It was visible in Oklahoma on the 16th of September, and faintly visible on Monday night, and the storm wasn't anywhere near this strong.

The Kp index is a global indicator of geomagnetic activity and thus a good factor to roughly say when you could be seeing Aurora near your location.

2017年1月17日 · Hey guys! Tonight finally clear skies here around Inari... I was guiding an Australian couple, and with the current Aurora forecast, I wasn't expecting anything big. Kp never went higher than 1 tonight! Nevertheless, never give up hope when at 69°N!
