   2012年5月1日 · 「空間から環境へ展」とは. 『空間から環境へ：同時代のインターメディアな活動と万博」（1） 1960年代～70年代のメタボリズムの全盛期には、建築や都市計画の分野だけでなく、美術や音楽などジャンルを超えた横断的な活動や交流が活発に行われました。 建築が単体の建物から都市のインフラなども包括したメガストラクチャーへと拡張するなか、美術の分野でも表現のための空間は、「環境」あるいは「エンバイロメント」という言葉に置き換えられ、大きく拡張しました。
