2015年1月2日 · A Beautiful and Crowded Day Trip from Shanghai. Jun 2023 • Solo. I recently visited the Ancient Town at Zhujiajiao as a solo traveler, and I had a great time! The town is absolutely beautiful, with its narrow streets, traditional Chinese architecture, and canals.

The 98Tang Chu was a nice restaurant and the food was pretty flavourful as well. We quite enjoyed eating here for a change. Date of visit: December 2018.

Yes, there is a great sandy beach, with tidepools to look in and fairly calm water but don't go in. This is a place where the Chinese go to make a sort of cultural pilgrimage to the 'End of the Earth'. You can take off your shoes and wade in up to your ankles as you walk to the end, but that is all.
Probably the most well known sight in all of Milo's, Sarakiniko beach is a must see location at any time of the year. Sarakiniko beach can best be described as the "white beach" of Milos, as the entire area is covered in ashen-white volcanic rocks and sand.
