2024年5月29日 · By Liverpool FC. Liverpool FC today paid its respects on the 39th anniversary of the Heysel Stadium disaster. On May 29, 1985, at the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus, events in Block Z of Heysel Stadium in Belgium tragically led to the deaths of 39 football fans and left hundreds more injured.
Climb to the top of the Main Stand roof, one of the largest all-seater single stands in European football, then lean back over the top edge and start your 100ft descent down the side of the stadium.
