2020年4月2日 · 香港的保險業多年不變，但其實我們的行為早已改變。 生活中大小事務，不少已可在網上或透過手機辦妥，唯獨保險遲遲仍未跑出。 我和團隊認為香港保險市場最大的痛處是「保障缺口」。 本地保險銷售多年來的着眼點是投資類的產品，市場並非由純保障的產品主導，超過 9 成的保費收入都是來自前者。 我們認為香港最需要的，反而是簡單的人壽及醫療保險產品。 利用網上平台及大數據，虛擬保險公司可以迅速分銷簡單而低門檻的保險產品，照顧以往被市場忽略的客戶群，最重要的是去填補市場上的保障缺口。 2. 你認為科技會取代保險代理嗎？ 這條問題不易回答。 實際上，我認為線上與線下的銷售會共存，多於由線上去取代線下。 因為簡單的產品逐漸走到線上銷售；而較複雜的產品則繼續需要由代理或財務規劃師去解釋，協助客戶作出投保決定。

Derek︰舉個例子，早前有個打籃球的年輕人因膝痛來求診。 筆者從他的口中了解情況後，再進行觸診及動態測試（動態測試即請他做各種不同動作，再問他做該動作時身體各部位的感覺），再以筆者的專業知識和臨床試驗，判斷出他膝痛的根源是下肢力學問題（足部前旋導致膝關節內旋）。 筆者的處理方法是先以手法治療、運動貼紮及處方鞋墊去處理他根源的力學問題，再輔以超聲波和電療替他紓緩痛楚這個表癥，實行標本兼治。 手術與物理治療的關係. Derek︰平日常有聽到病人做完手術後需要接受物理治療。 的確，有部分傷患，如膝關節前十字韌帶重建手術、肩關節肌腱問題的手術後，物理治療是十分重要的，而且手術後康復時間頗長，並需要接受長期物理治療和運動訓練。
