It was free, cause of Apple Care. There are shops that can repair iPhones. It seems to cost 19800 yen to 29800 yen depends on the model. The time is from 60 minutes.
It is only for emergency assistance and doesn't cover medical costs. It does cover ambulance service, medical evaluation, nurse escort if necessary, cash advance for medical payments to keep medical care going if your credit card isn't enough.
