Hi, wanting to buy a Rolex and have a few questions: What island and what store(s) would you recommend purchasing a Rolex from? Do they negotiate any? If so what can you expect in terms of price reduction? What is the tax rate as you go through customs?
The quality of the imitation watches now is astounding. You really need to know what to look for in the case, crystal, movement, and band. These are high quality fakes, but not the kind of watch you want to spend 4-5K on. Rolex in particular would be easy to fake as it is not an overly busy watch and it is very common.
You should check Rolex's site for authorized dealers. They sell authentic watches and your warranty is recognized. Since many of the styles are limited quantity, you may find styles here that you couldn't get somewhere else.
