2021年3月30日 · this is just plain wrong, it's not to spy. if anything, they disabled the web feature because it makes too easy for browsers to abuse user privacy. i was going to use the web version to use dark mode but that is always a known security risk. the wechat software is not spying on you, don't use Chinese software if you're a blatant sinophobe. and you can use it on linux, just need a workaround ...

Specifically, I am looking for a way to check to see whether two accounts are friends on WeChat (I have access to the login information for one of those, the other of which varies).
