2008年7月6日 · All the models you can get in 1/72 of the Shackleton MR.3 are from the Frog moulds, I've got one Modelcraft, one Revell, and the rest are all Novo kits. Hannants had a sale on these a couple of years ago, they were just bagged parts, no decals and no instructions and going for GBP8.00 each, so I got a bunch. gerry.
It was released in 1976 (so I'm told) a little before Frog went under. So it didn't have much of a long life on model shop shelves before it became solely an item passed on within the second hand community. It was the third major Lancaster kit in 1:72 after the Airfix kit of 1960 and the Revell example in 1963.

2010年12月24日 · This is my seventh build of a Gladiator. There have been four Airfix kits, one Heller, one Revell (Matchbox) and this time, the old Frog kit. I just had to see what it was like so I bought it from a well known seller for more than I wanted to pay. For its time, it is quite a splendid little kit.

2011年5月20日 · I've always liked this little kit. While it's not very accurate, Frog's stylized interpretation of the Fokker is more aesthetically pleasing than the original, I think. This build was intended to be the first in a series of builds in this style from similar mid-'60s Frog kits. Never did get further than this one.
