2024年4月22日 · 醫務衞生局醫療衞生研究基金撥款資助進行的香港生長研究顯示，近年本港兒童和青少年身高有明顯增長趨勢。 衞生署轄下母嬰健康院和學生健康服務中心將分別於7月和9月開始使用更新的生長圖表，以更好監察兒童生長。 衞生署家庭及學生健康處社會醫學顧問醫生鍾偉雄今日在記者會表示，根據香港生長研究，現今兒童和青少年身高較以往有明顯的長期增長趨勢。 研究結果也顯示，本地0至5歲兒童的生長數據跟世界衞生組織2006年所定標準吻合，惟香港兒童由出生至兩個月大的體重稍輕、3至5歲香港兒童則稍矮。 鍾偉雄指，現時使用、於1993年制定的生長圖表未必適用於當代兒童和青少年的生長監察和評估。 當局認為香港需要制定一套新的生長圖表，即香港2020生長圖表，以監察兒童生長。
2022年3月1日 · 髮型屋資助計劃下周一接受申請. 2022年3月1日. 政府在第六輪防疫抗疫基金預留1.3億元推行髮型屋及理髮店資助計劃，向上月10日起被勒令暫停營業的髮型屋和理髮店提供一筆過資助。 計劃下周一開始接受申請，本月20日截止。 每間合資格髮型屋和理髮店，包括由社會企業經營的店鋪，可按其處所內員工人數獲得介乎1.5萬至5萬元資助，連鎖髮型屋或理髮店可獲最多150萬元資助。 持商業登記的髮型屋和理髮店須經專屬網上申請系統hairsubsidy.gov.hk提交申請，由社企營運而沒有商業登記的髮型屋和理髮店則須透過社會服務聯會遞交。 政府預計本月內開始發放資助，料約4,200間處所受惠。 查詢可發 電郵 或致電1836 138。 .
2022年3月1日 · March 1, 2022. The Subsidy Scheme for Hair Salons & Barber Shops under the sixth round of the Anti-epidemic Fund will open for applications on March 7, the Government announced today. Hair salons and barber shops that have been directed to suspend operations since February 10 will be eligible, including those run by social enterprises.
