Beautiful town with nice activities. Very beautiful town even though it is artificially constructed over 5 year period. We went there with tour that gives you access to tour the water town and also to Simatai Great Wall via a cable car and short hike.

First free day in Beijing 4 of us went to the Zoo. What an amazing day,only cost 19 yuan (£2.30) entrance and that included 5 yuan extra to see the panda's. Go early, zoo opens at 7.30am and that's when the pandas are most active. Absolutely brilliant and definately one off the bucket list!!
