Jamaal Lascelles (/ dʒəˈmɑːlləˈsɛls / jə-MAHL lə-SELSS; born 11 November 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back and is club-captain for Premier League club Newcastle United. Lascelles previously played for Nottingham Forest, where he was developed through its youth academy.
