Want feel like ur in europe or Russia Kata, Karon. Kick back with locals /familes and be in an area that is walkable Kamala. More upscale but not walkable Bang Tao.
I visited and stayed at the Phuket Panwa Pullman Resort with my mum, sister, brother in law and nieces and nephews, it was completely a great location. This is one of the best service oriented resort in Phuket. I stayed here with my wife and 3year old daughter for 3 nights.
