This is the best hike to do in the area due to the views and the lack of tourists. Grassi Lakes (Canmore). The trailhead for Grassi Lakes is in Canmore about 2km past the Nordic Centre.
2023年5月1日 · I can't quite work out if you're just asking when the best time to visit is, or you want a full itinerary of what to do. Personally, MY best time to be in Banff is in January when everything is frozen and the temps are -30. As you said you don't like winter, you're looking for YOUR best time to visit. May/June can be hot or wet.
Make sure to hike the rockpile, get there early and do a bigger hike like Sentinel Pass. Ride the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain to enjoy panoramic views of the Canadian Rockies and the Bow Valley. Open year-round, cost is $66 and up, per person, but free if you hike it. Take the #1 bus to get there.

2023年8月15日 · 211logos. Well, more glacier in Banff and Jasper (and Glacier NP in Canada) than in Glacier USA. So a bit more alpine up north in the Rockies, and more for the climber, skier, etc. Also, bigger river, and close proximity to the Columbia Range, which is quite awesome itself. Most don't only go to Banff town and nearby.
2023年2月26日 · June isn't a bad month, and rain and snow can happen at any time. July and Aug can be awful because of wildfire smoke. It's cheaper because it's not considered peak season. It's worth visiting then if you're on a budget. If you want warmer weather then end of early July night be better. 2.
