Cinque Terre, the five towns, is a string of five ancient fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera just south of Genoa in northwest Italy. The tiny villages were until recently linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water.

3 天前 · There is over 120 km of trails along the Cinque Terre coast line with 48 hiking trails available. You will need a special ticket, a Cinque Terre Card, for the following coastal trails: Monterosso - Vernazza, Vernazza - Corniglia and Riomaggiore - Manarola (Via dell'Amore).
Vernazza, in the heart of Cinque Terre, is the perfect starting point for hikes along the Blue Trail connecting Vernazza with Monterosso and Corniglia. Just remember, admission to these two trails requires the purchase of the Cinque Terre Card .

The Cinque Terre Express trains are running every 20 minutes between the Cinque Terre villages and stop in Levanto, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore and La Spezia. This train service is available from March 16 until November 3, 2024.
