I uninstalled it but am having a lot of trouble getting rid of all the related files. I'm getting help for that on a separate post. But I am wondering how the heck this happened.

2012年8月28日 · Ok here try this.Open Mcafee and look at the top left side for Navigation.Press it ans you will see Ports and system services.Make sure Common Operating Systems Local TCP/IP Ports 5357 common ports used by Microsoft windows operating system,make sure the box is checked.The scroll down look for UPNP server port is checked.

On Startup and Services tab uncheck all that say McAfee - APPLY / OK - then REBOOT.
