To do decent low end for a bass guitar, you need compliant suspensions on the drivers so the driver parameters are appropriate to the task, and plenty of surface area and excursion. Phil gets his surface area from multiple drivers.

If you need a desktop amp or compact travel practice amp, the nano bass is a great option (one of the only options at its size). 2004年4月29日 · Be aware that the PJB C8 is a front ported construction and the PJB cab67 is back ported. This, apart from any other differences between the two, is a major issue. It took me some time and gigging in different situations and money to find out that (to me) front ported or closed cabs are preferable.
