(1)Town gas is produced from coal. (2)Town gas contains hydrogen as the major component. (3)Oxygen is added to enhance the flammability of town gas prior to its delievery to consumers. (2) and (3) are correct. That means there is O2 in town gas,why H2 for
When 250 mg of sodium were added to 500 cm3 of water at 25 °C a gas was. produced. Give an equation for the reaction that occurs. Calculate the volume, in cm3. , of the gas formed at 101 kPa. The gas constant, R = 8.31 J K–1 mol–1. I keep getting the wrong answer and i dont have a mark scheme as it is the 2018 paper.
A student carries out a titration to determine the molar mass of an unknown acid, A. The student dissolves 2.24 g of acid A in distilled water and makes the solution up to 250.0 cm3. The student titrates a 25.0 cm3 portion of this solution with 0.120 mol dm–3 NaOH. 25.25 cm3 of 0.120 mol dm–3 NaOH are required to reach the end point.
KP question pls help. Q8.The following information concerns the equilibrium gas-phase synthesis of methanol. At equilibrium, when the temperature is 68 °C, the total pressure is 1.70 MPa. The number of moles of CO, H2 and CH3OH present are 0.160, 0.320 and 0.180, respectively. Thermodynamic data are given below.

Calculate the relative molecular mass of a gas which has a density of 2.615g dm-3 at 298K and 101kPa Ok so I’ve got the working out and the answer but I want to know why the volume is 1dm-3 V= 1dm-3 Moles = pV/rt Moles = 101000*(1/1000) / 8.31*298 Moles = 0.0408 Mass= density * volume Mass = 1*2.615 Mass= 2.615 Mr = mass /moles Mr= 2.615 / 0.0408 Mr = 64.09 I understand the working out and ...
2021年1月22日 · The diameter of the lumen (hole) of the capillary tubing was 1 mm. The volume of a capillary tubing is given by πr2l, where π is 3.14 and l = length. Calculate the volume of gas produced in cm3 hour–1. Show your working. So in 1 hour it moves 1.5/24 cm which is the length. 1mm equals 0.1cm so that is the diameter.
Ideal Gas CALCULATION HELP NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!! A certain mass of an ideal gas is in a sealed vessel of volume 3.25 dm3. At a temperature of 25.0ºC, it exerts a pressure of 101 kPa. What pressure will it exert at 100ºC?
Hi there, i have been set a homework for ideal gas equations and I have done questions 1-5 (see attachment) but I can't seem to be able to work out how to work out the rest the answers are in the attachment but I can't work out how to do it: these are the questions, many thanks in advance 6.
