Habitats. The freshwater marshes are located at the centre of the Park with some 10 hectares in size. The marshes consist of different habitats, including open water to attract ducks and ardeids; shallow water to encourage feeding by waders; marshes for shy waterbirds; and islands for roosting of ducks and rails.
