William Clinton, dit Bill Clinton [b ɪ l ˈ k l ɪ n t ə n] [1], né le 19 août 1946 à Hope (), est un homme d'État américain, 42 e président des États-Unis, en fonction du 20 janvier 1993 au 20 janvier 2001. Membre du Parti démocrate, il est procureur général de l'Arkansas de 1977 à 1979, puis gouverneur de l'Arkansas de 1979 à 1981 et à nouveau de 1983 à 1992.
