Tamiya zimmerit stickers are kinda meh. They work fine on flat surfaces, but are really bad on curved surfaces and u need to use CA glue to glue anything to them. I had best results with epoxy putty (Tamiya Epoxy Putty, Magic Sculpt, etc.) and special tools

Thank you, the steel texture was done by stippling Mister Surfacer 500 over the model with a hard brush and the weld lines are made from Tamiya epoxy putty. The link explains it way better then I could
