2024年8月20日 · Short 4 days / 3 nights trip of Hokkaido. Aug 20, 2024, 3:59 AM. Hello, my partner and I are planning a 4 days / 3 nights tour of Hokkaido this winter, from the 3rd to 6th January. We're keen on nice onsens, culture, nature and hiking (where possible given it's winter). We're not skiers.

It is gonna be my first time to Hokkaido with hubby in Mid October and we were won over by a Vlog we saw on The Lake Suite Ko No Sumika resort at Lake Toya so we booked some nights there.
2024年8月19日 · Feedback on first draft itinerary. Aug 19, 2024, 2:00 PM. We are planning a trip to Hokkaido next summer and I'm working on a rough draft itinerary. Our group includes me, my husband, and our 18 year old son. (who picked Hokkaido for his high school graduation trip!) Our priorities are nature, culture and food.
2024年8月26日 · 1n Shibeca. 3n Kushiro. 1n Noribetsu. 3n Niseko. 1n Otaru. We plan on getting trains between all destinations, expect from Kushiro as getting a flight may be a better option time wise. We are hoping to do the ice breaking ship and catching the SL fuyu-no-shitsugen steam train.

All spots are pretty easy to be visited on your own using frequent public transports. Search online guide for plenty of updated travel info. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2163.html.

Instead of flying to Asahikawa better fly to Hakodate direct for 2n to kick off your 1st visit in Hokkaido. Even by the fastest JR Hokuto express train it takes 3.5 hours b/w Sapporo and Hakodate direct with fares @JPY9.5k+.
