2024年8月31日 · But if those places are in your plans already, then other spots to look into are: --Stay at Takayama some more to visit Kamikochi for a hiking day trip or Shin-Hotaku ropeway on a nice day. --Head to Gero Onsen to overnight for one night, then move onto Nagoya. --A Nagoya city visit with a sidetrip to Inuyama Castle.
2024年8月21日 · 1. Re: Driving and sightseeing in Hakone. The view from the Ropeway is much better than driving from Togendai to Owakudani. The best part of the ropeway is between Owakudani and Sounzan. If it is 5000 yen you can get Hakone Free Pass and also enjoy the Pirate Boat Cruise with it.

Since you're bringing in more than allowed, you need to get a permit called Yunyu Kakuninsho. You can do it online:
3 天前 · Tokyo - Takayama - Tokyo. Sep 8, 2024, 12:25 AM. We booked a lovely ryokan in Takayama without realising that it’s quite hard to get to from Tokyo. Am I right that the best way to travel would be to take the train from Tokyo Station to Toyama then transfer to a regional train to Takayama? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
