July and August can be beautiful months to travel to Vallarta --- it's quiet and uncrowded and you have an opportunity to meet more locals. They will be happy to see you as the restaurants/shops that are open do need customers. Have fun. Reply.

Was hoping for some advice! We're looking between two places, Cuale Condos near Zona romantica and Grand Miramar hotel near Conchas Chinas.

I'm think of Vitea and La Posta on the Malecon, where sometimes they close up the glass doors and run AC inside, but sometimes it's fans only when they open the 'walls'.
