Not sure if you need to pay flying AC as you would then likely check-in at AC desks and not Sunwing but if checking in at Sunwing then you need to pay the $20 at the desk as you line up before check-in.

It wasn't a big or extremely busy operation so if you can't contact them, I suspect they didn't survive covid. Reply.
