2024年5月4日 · 04/05/2024. 【符致華】在去年初，筆者曾經介紹過「寵物經濟學」的投資前景。 而最新數據顯示，近年這個有趣的市場持續穩步發展，在亞洲的增長更是驚人。 自疫情以來，全球各地的寵物數量均見增加，當中又以亞洲的增速尤為顯著。 隨著亞洲中產階級日益壯大，寵物數目亦與日俱增。 在中國，預計貓兒數量將由2020年的3,100萬隻，急增至2024年的1.7億至2億隻。 至於在印度，寵物狗的數量料亦從2018年的1,940萬隻，大增至2023年的3,100萬隻。 「寵物擬人化」現象值得留意. 除了數目急增之外，「寵物擬人化」（Pet humanization）的現象更是值得留意。
