2024年6月14日 · 為慶祝香港特別行政區成立二十七周年，康樂及文化事務署將於七月一日（星期一）在青衣東北公園舉辦以嬉水為主題的「親子水樂慶回歸嘉年華」，提供不同類型的免費親子活動，讓市民親子同樂，嬉水消暑，歡度假日。 活動當日上午九時至下午十二時半，青衣東北公園人造草地足球場將設置大型嬉水遊戲包括水槍迷宮、水上滾筒及充氣水池等，供市民一家大小在炎炎夏日，透過暢玩不同類型的嬉水遊戲消暑解熱。 活動分三節進行，分別為上午九時至十時、上午十時十五分至十一時十五分及上午十一時三十分至下午十二時三十分。 有興趣的市民可於六月二十日（星期四）上午八時三十分起，親臨葵青區康樂事務辦事處或青衣東北公園辦事處索取嬉水遊戲區的入場門票，每人最多索取四張，先到先得，派完即止。 另有少量名額可供市民七月一日即場參加，額滿即止。
