The best near Arenal, in my opinion, is Mistico hanging Bridges. The name of the town near the Arenal volcano is La Fortuna. The names are used interchangeably, same area.

It accepts credit cards (we had wise cards) however tops ups during the trip at ticket machines across Japan were cash only.
